When Brian was in Dublin in February he brought home a few different Irish Whiskies and this one is my favorite. It’s silky smooth in your mouth and combines perfectly with orange and cherries. Good Irish whiskey can be tough to find, but it’s definitely worth the look. Most liquor stores will carry Yellow Spot, Jameson 12 year or Teeling which are good entry level whiskies if you’re just getting started with the “water of life” (what whiskey is called in Ireland, I recently learned).
